our process

One of our team members will discuss your building intentions and obtain a detailed understanding of your project.

Questions will include:

Do you already have plans drawn?
Have you already purchased land and are ready to commence construction?
What is your expected start and completion date?
Do you have a current site plan of the land?
Is it a clear site or a knock down re-build?
What is your budget?
Have you had a site survey completed or can we recommend someone for you?
If you are looking to build multiple dwellings or a duplex, have you contacted your local council to see if it is allowed?

Scheduled meeting

Please come prepared with all your questions.
We will discuss existing plans or new plan design concepts.
Discuss floor layouts. Discuss facade options/internal finishes.
What style you are looking for?
Discuss the building area.
Comply with local council requirements.
Discuss the obvious and potential unknown site conditions.
At the conclusion of this meeting and when everything is to your satisfaction, we will sign an agreement to either commence works or to continue with the planning of the project.

Designing /Planning

Select a suitable architect for the project.
Provide the architect with your wish-list.
Following the approval of the first draft plans, we will liaise with engineers, a BASIX consultant, and a town planner.
Building plans will be revised accordingly.
A final set of plans will be presented to you for approval
and sign-off.
Selection of internal finishes/products will commence.

Submission of plans

Plans will be submitted to council.
We can either submit the DA to council or guide you through this process.
If applicable, we can also submit your CDC to council or guide you through this process.

Submission of Construction Certificate

If your DA and CC were not submitted at the same time, we can now submit your CC to council.
Upon receiving the approvals from council, we are now ready to commence!
